About Vacuum Pack Travel
Vacuum Pack Travel is an independent publisher covering travel packing gear. We write practical buying guides for one narrow question at a time: what actually works when you're trying to fit more into less luggage, and what falls apart on day three of a trip.
We are not a store. We don't sell products, hold inventory, or ship anything. We research a category, pick what we'd buy ourselves, and explain the reasoning so you can disagree with it.
How we review
Every guide follows the same process:
- Category first, product second. We start with how a product type works and where it fails (roll-up bags losing seal, packing cubes not compressing), before evaluating any specific product.
- Manufacturer claims are verified where possible and labeled where not. Capacity, battery life, materials, and guarantee terms are sourced from the manufacturer and identified as such. Where a claim can't be independently checked, we say so.
- We tell you who shouldn't buy. Every recommendation includes the cases where it's the wrong purchase. If a guide has no downsides listed, it's an ad, not a review.
- Prices are dated. Prices shown carry an "at time of writing" date. Retail pricing changes; check the seller's page for the current number.
How this site makes money
Vacuum Pack Travel is reader-supported through affiliate links. When you buy through a link on our guides, the retailer pays us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it doesn't change the price you pay.
The commission never dictates the conclusion. We only feature products we'd buy with our own money, and every page that contains affiliate links discloses it at the top and bottom of the page.
Corrections
If a spec is wrong, a price is stale, or a claim doesn't match your experience, tell us at our contact page. We correct fast and note material updates in the guide.
